Tempo cutdown!!

This hard one can be done today or tommoro...
It's a very good HM workout for the limited time we have during the week..
Tempo cutdown
Run 2 miles at tempo pace (I woukd like this to be a lot of running. Shooting for fast .5 miles with very short .05 walks)
Rest/walk 2 min completely ..
Run 1.5 miles at tempo pace using same or similar patternRest walk/2 min completely
Run 1 mile at tempo pace using whatever pattern you want;)!!
So the idea for all 3 of these long intervals is to try to find a pace that is challenging but no over your head.
I think if you start close to mid 12 pace, you will be able to maintain pace or even speed up.!!
HOLY CRAP PEZZ this WAS HARD! and HOT.....I think I rather "messed up" on the first 2 min rest/walk part. I walked...to my next "starting position". I think I should have just walked in a circle and stretched more than walking for two minutes.. I could feel it as I started out the next 1.5. not in my legs at this time, but my breathing, stamina(yes, I think my weight is fluctuating and it's mentally bugging me too). The second 2 minute rest period I actually stopped and stretched a bit and just took breath in long deep increments, but I think the "damage" was done from not too correct first two minutes. By the cooldown, I could also feel "Peri" trying to be annoying... but then again, it's hot, I was tired, and I know it's time for new shoes. Overall, I am happy that I finished it and super thrilled my first two miles were in the 12's!!!!!
FUNNY NOTE...mid run, the first two miles, it hit me like a ton of bricks, and I just busted out laughing...I had no clue about HM I keep thinking heart monitor. Then yesterday in the run, I went OHHHH Half Marathon. Lord, I swear sometimes my brain!
