Exercise Type: Run

  Comments:
Ran a 29-mile relay in Rock Creek Park with Anthony, Mark, and Ethan. We averaged a 6:19 pace, though I may have been closer to 6:30 with Mark and maybe Ethan pulling our average down considerably. I really have no clear sense of how fast I ran. I tried to run "hard" the entire time since I was alone, with exception of the dozens of walkers, joggers, and competitors who were far slower than us, meaning I could never relax and lets someone else set the pace. Still, I'm pretty happy with my effort. Felt quite tired on the second leg but was still able to push myself well. Can't say the racing itself was fun, but the overall experience was. Would totally do it again, especially since we managed to get 2nd, passing all but two of the 49 teams (we were the last team to start, and the only team in the 8:30 wave). My two legs were 4.5 and 5.5 respectively, plus a warmup jog before my leadoff.
