Weather: ~80 degrees, Hot but cooled off
Comments:
Workout day! I was originally gonna do something like I did last week, but I was convinced otherwise. Which was good. I joined the Princeton Intervals people for some quick track work. 6x400 with 2:00 rest, followed by 6x200 with about 1:10 rest. Went pretty damn well. The 400s all hovered around 73, and all the 200s were around 33, with the last rep at 30. It's nice to know that there's still a little bit of quickness in the legs. Of course I can sharpen this some, but there's a ton of time for that. Plus it was just really nice to do a workout with a bunch of people too! Granted it ended up feeding my ego a little bit since I ended up leading the front pack. But still, I really missed going fast. Really feeling club track this winter. Just gotta pony up the dough.
