Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
today was the annual mt. greylock run where we run 8 miles up to the top of the mountain. I, however, did not run 8 miles to the top of the mountain. I ran less than 4 miles to halfway up the mountain. I was breathing hard from the very beginning and felt bad and I was lightheaded. I couldn't read the street signs because my vision was blurry. I told Sami that as she passed me in the van driving up and when I got to the water stop, Pete did not let me continue. I tried to escape and I asked multiple times if I could keep going but he said no. I was really bummed about that and being at the top didn't feel the same since I didn't actually run up. It is so hard though. The first half was extremely challenging. Oh well. I did it last year, and I'll do it next year.

I would really really like to not be coughing anymore. I'm racing on Saturday on a flat course and I feel like I need a confidence boost from that race.
