Jacksonville half

Ok my friend...
you have come such a long way in such a short amount of time since your layoff.

I think if you look at these last 3 to 4 weeks post Irma you have really put a dent in your fitness level.

This may not be like Best Damn half race or iron girl level, but if you look at your midweek interval workouts and Your long runs specifically on September 22nd and September 29th, it show that you have the endurance to feel pretty good in this race. I think if you go out close to 11:20's In that first 3 miles, you will be able to get into a groove in miles 4 through 10 and really pop off some good ones.

I know it's still warm and this course may have some hills and bridges but I think we can look at this as one hell of a workout getting you ready for bigger things.
In fact, if you stay patient, I think you can run faster than Coco beach Half from last year, which would be a very cool thing considering how long you were out.

Be sure to take some fuel maybe at miles 4 and 9.
Drink when you can as it is still warm. I'm looking forward for this to be a great stepping stone to winter races!!!
