cedar hill for sunday long run today. It's kind of a brutal run and many of the slower people chose to run from campus today, but I really didn't want to do that so I went anyways. Fortunately, basically everyone felt crappy today, so there were people for me to be slow with. I was worried I'd get dropped and I really appreciated Emily's reassurance that she'd drop back with me if that were to happen. I felt better over the course of the run (except for some small asthma issues towards the end), largely because the first half is more uphill than the second half. Ended up doing the whole thing with Emily, Brianna, Sarah, and Wyndom. I'm really enjoying getting to spend more time with the freshman and getting to know them better. They're really a great group. I caught two leaves, bringing my total up to 14, a new record. day 1 lift later on.

I'm sad because I'm realizing how soon my season will be over. I may only have one real race left. Cross country is the best part of the year.
