Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
400, 400, 800, 1600, 800. There were two more 400s, but my legs weren't feeling great. Haven't been sleeping/icing/rolling enough. Took the first two pickups controlled because my legs were still cold and speed hurts them more. Then was going to be fairly conservative on the 800, but Anthony told us to run below our mile pace. I stuck with Aaron, and I think I PRed (2:29). Kind of sad that that's my 800 pr, but hey, I'm a distance guy. Anyways, the mile felt fine. I ran exactly my target pace, but it felt strange because everyone else was ahead of me, either because they had a faster target or because they weren't pacing well. The last 800 felt fine, but I could feel my legs going. All in all alright workout. My cardio is definitely there, but my legs feel heavy, and I can't tell whether or not its because I've been training hard or because I never got speed work up.
