Harder to catch in the dark

November 10, 2017 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: sun just easing into the sky in the last fifteen minutes, low 40s, building wind

Comments:
Ran to meet Sam and Jesse at Fesenden and Reno. Seemed a good sign that leaves were falling and I caught one on my way there, despite the darkness. Ran down to Broad Branch and took that to Peirce Mill and back the way we'd come. Wind picked up as the run went on and with the 5:45am start and construction on Beach Dr, there were streetlight opportunities to catch leaves along Broad Branch. Especially as the sky lightened and the wind picked up in the final 15 minutes, I was able to catch 24 bringing my season total to 70. I admit I was tempted to skip giving parent-teacher conferences in favor of staying out and running after more leaves. Pace was actually fairly decent today and that was nice.
