Pre marathon workout

1 week out!!!

This run is not a true long run but is important...
Warm up 2 miles easy
Run 2 miles between HM pace and Marathon pace
Finish 2 miles easy...

So a week out from the marathon, we obviously do not want a long run, but we still want something of intensity.
So the idea for this one is to ease into the run and by mile 3, be ready to pick up pace to that of a descent moderate effort but not super hard at all. If 7:45 pace feels easy, go for it, but really physiologically speaking, 8:00 to 8:15 pace would be fast enough for the purpose of this workout.

Don't expect it to feel great. Taper never does feel great.
