Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Just after sunset, 50ish and dropping fast
Comments:
After two long days of working on report cards it felt good to be done and heading out for a run. My body didn't feel great, but the prospect of catching a moon-rise on the golf course got me excited enough. It was pretty dark by the time I reached the course and I was discouraged not to see the full moon yet, but as I paused to do a few leg swings in the corner near the fateful fence, I saw it. Somewhere between orange and golden... maybe bronze? It was stunning, large, and deep in color. Turns out it was a "super moon" as it was closer than usual to the earth due to elliptical orbit. It followed me along the Wisconsin side of the greens and lead me back towards the clubhouses. It was beginning to cast good light by the time I reached home. I did loosen up and the final stretch up Livingston street was 2:03, but I never felt fresh, powerful or strong the way I'd have liked to.
