This morning I ran the Solar Turbines Holiday Bowl 5K in San Diego. It was like 70 degrees and beautiful. For the warm up at the line there was some hype black guy leading everybody in dancing which was really cool lol.
I came through 2 miles in 10:17 feeling good, but then I realized that I am not quite yet in shape for a good 5K and I fell off. I got 4th overall, being beat by a guy who runs for Duke's varsity team.
I ended up running a 16:23 but I can't complain.
