Well firstly, I have a story. Picture this. Wee hours of the night (ok only like 11 or 12 at night lol). I'm studying in my room, grinding away as usual and minding my own business. Good vibes, positive thoughts, not a care in the world. Then suddenly a violent knock on the door. Every hair on my body stands up and suddenly I feel unsafe, I feel a sense of urgency. I slowly open up the door to find a flustered Adam Blaida.... but right behind Blaida, I find a wild, untamed creature of the night. White foam oozing from his mouth, a look of vicious savagery and a bit of despair. His eyes thirst for my blood and immediately I am taken aback. I nearly swallow my Adam's apple and prepare for the strike of vengeance.
A dangerously determined Austin Langlinais had come into my house in the late hours of the night to prove that he indeed was not a bitch. He did the workout on the roads in the late evening, so gotta give him some running log props. He proved Lucas, BJ, and I wrong (though without the legendary roast, he probably would've never done it!) and got in a good workout. So good job Austin. You're more of a wild animal than I could've ever expected.
Anywayssss, as for the rest of the day, I spent 4 hour volunteering at Playmakers by directing traffic. Discount and I did a less than mediocre job and probably caused some near parking disasters. But it was a fun time. And then the informational meeting was a good time as always.
Oh yeah, I forgot this was a running log. I ran 6 mile from IM West to Grand River with Matt Ring and 3 new/newish freshmen named Hunter, Alec, and Will. They were all cool guys and I'm happy I got to meet/possibly remeet them. I think they have a good shot at sticking around on the club, so that's always exciting. We took the run really easy. I didn't get the exact pace, but it was decently slow around 7:20 or so probably. Still a quality time and a nice, easy run.
Also shoutout the weather. Though it was rainy, we're probably not gonna see a lot of 50 degree days for a while.
