First raced 800 since freshman year, I think. Wouldn't call it a race per se--kind of glided through it like the heavy-legged distance runner that I am--but nevertheless, it was nice to get on the track without pain.

Aside from physical recovery and growth (not just around pain, but around form and overall strength), I'm really happy with how far I've come emotionally with regards to racing and running. I approached today from a particularly relaxed standpoint, just running for the sake of running. Of course, I debriefed a bit with people after my race, but I really didn't feel a need to analyze or go over it--it just was, and it was fun. I don't really know what I'm saying; I just feel like running is finally kind of piecing together as the healthy mental endeavor that it always could have been, this time with my body cooperating.
