Weather: super wet, muddy, and slippery
Comments:
we got to marathon at about 9AM. the boys started warming up around 10 for our seeded varsity race that started at 11. we did a wrmup run, then stretched inside because it was so wet. after that, we warmed up a little more and did speed developement. i started the race pretty fast and stayed with the top guys for a little. then i fellback to about 55th. i gradually moved up to 47th by the end of the race. it was so slippery and muddy during the race that no one had a good time. there were people falling everywhere and at one point, there was a rabbit that i almost stepped on. i think my time was about 19:04. after the race, we were completely soaked and muddy. our cooldown was a quick run to the showers.
