I originally wasn't planning on going to SVSU for day 2, but then I realized I would just be dicking around doing nothing at home if I didn't. If I'm just gonna be dicking around I might as well do it with the boys at SVSU because Saturdays Are for The Boys. So I went. Then I found out that I could run under Garret's name for the mile if i wanted, so I decided I would dick around and run the mile. But I also knew that because of the 5k last night my mile time wasn't going to be good anyway, so when we arrived at the facility I went out for a 60 min run. I got done like 40 minutes before the race.

My legs felt horrible as expected for the first half of the race but then started to feel better for the second half. With 100m to go Joe Hegger came with a big kick but I did just enough to hold him off. So yeah my time was bad but I really couldn't care less. I wasn't planning on racing to begin with and I did a 60 minute run right before. So it's all whatever.

After the race I put on my khakis and polo and looked like our coach. I later went into the coach's lounge and took some food and casually talked to some of the CMU's throws coaches.

Overall pretty good day as I got to watch some really good races. So shout out to all of you because there is a lot of you that deserve a shout out.
