Weather: a surprisingly warm october day

hup,, i really wanted to get 8 miles in before next sundays race (of 9 miles)..mostly to convince my brain that i was strong enough to do it. overall it went well. i kept running and running till i got back home -- the only problem is that my knees started to ache heeeella bad around 6miles. and now im still in a bit of pain,, but its obviously soreness not injury. nonetheless this wasnt happening the last time i trained,, and im not so excited about it. for the rest of the week ill keep it easy, maybe like a 4 miler on wed or thur.
