If feeling ok, today or tomorrow the latest, I'm looking for a 4 mile tempo run....
Just a reminder as it's been awhile since we have done a true tempo, a tempo run is a faster-paced workout also known as a lactate-threshold and is supposed to be at a pace that is about 30 seconds slower than your 5k race pace. So like I always say it is "comfortably hard" and improves our metabolic fitness more than any other type of run!
So warm up .5 miles easy
Run 4 miles at tempo, (probably 7:40 to 8:ish pace for you right now depending on conditions.
Cool down .5 miles easy

Ran at Jervy gant....had to walk after first 2 miles, took small walk break after 3rd as well
