Ok really want to get some quality workouts in this week since next week will be easy before the half...

So please do this on Monday or Tuesday or whatever day suits best.
No clinic this week so want to take advantage of a longer type workout. Know you may be short on time. So just do what you can when it comes to last interval and Cooldown


Combination workout
Warm up .25 mile easy...

Run 2 miles at tempo pace...(probably close to 7:45 pace for you right now depending on hills, terrain etc.)

Take 2 to 3 min rest (no more)

Run 800m fast at 5k pace!!!
This is a very different pace than tempo( it's a scorcher and should make the 2 mile tempo feel easy)

Take a 2 to 3 min rest

2 mikes again at tempo pace trying to maintain as fast as the first set, but also keeping in mind that is not on a flat track and it's getting warmer so paces may fluctuate!

Cooldown easy if have time.

Basically it's 4.5 miles of fast running!
