XC Course + Orchard Hill

Comments:
Dope run at the gym today. I was working well. The weather was insane. Shorts and t-shirt all around. Had to get outside, everyone should have. Made my way to the XC Course, and it was much wetter than I expected. I still had a good time romping around. Finished up around O-Hill and to Triangle. Came down through campus right as a huge class was getting out so I had to detour through the quad to get back to the gym. The whole time, felt heavy and sluggish, like I was carrying around a lot. Tried to stay focused and smooth, but it was kinda hard to get into a real streamlined run. Still, the weather made up for it. Felt like a spring day and it was nice to see all the kids out on the hillside. At the gym, did a 800 easy to shake out, then incorporated some striders in. Those felt fast, much better than on the run. Promising.

Essentials: Stretch

The gym was absolutely packed, no where to stretch, so I had to go outside, which was fine. Felt like I was pretty flexible, good stretch. Legs were sore from lifting Sunday, that may have been overkill. Need to get them ready to go this weekend, thats the goal now.
