Ok assuming everything is feeling ok, I think we can take this race and race it!
Remember you just ran a 10k PR on feb.3rd and have had some great workouts in between like the one on feb.9th, feb. 16th and of course your most recent 6.2 miles at “tempo pace in 10:14.

You are ready to put in a good effort, as you have had a lot of workouts with paces in the 9’s and long runs of all sorts in the last few months.. I think we still have work to do with long runs and in consistent training BUT if you stay steady that first 10k, anything is possible!
I highly suggest you take the first 5k out to be no faster than 10:20,s.
Make it feel easy.
At mile 4, pretend you are getting released from the gates and run like you do!!
I think you can stay in the low 10’s for a good while and catch up to a bunch of people that went out too fast.
As usual, don’t worry about pace too much.
Run hard Those last 3 to 4 miles and know that this another stepping stone to more improvements and bigger races/challenges!
