Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
hmmm. after last night, I wasn't sure about this workout. the prescription was 4 mile threshold but obviously I was out late last night and did 1.7 miles near tempo pace at 1:30am. I've done many long runs after late nights out but never an actual workout. But I thought I'd give it a go and if I was too slow I would just quit and continuing running at a base pace.
I went out to the same trail that I ran Monday's workout on. I thought I was feeling ok... My first mile was a 5:31 and into the wind, but then my second mile was like 5:45 so it was gg. Yeah, I was running into a strong wind that was stronger than on Monday, but that's no excuse for a 14 second gain. So I just continued running normally and got lost in some neighborhoods. But it was easy to find my way back because of the sun in the sky telling me which direction I need to go.
I might try to redo this workout tomorrow or Friday. Idk.
