After a morning at New Balance, I came back to my Dad's, ate a piece of toast, and headed out to run some in Central Park. 5:00 to Central Park West. 6:00 total to the loop road. Tried not to get carried away and ran counter clockwise around the loop as usual. A bit tight and right foot a little achy by the end. Generally felt fine and loosened up alright. by the time I was at the 400 meter splits on the East side, I was at 7:00 pace. Got up onto the reservoir and ran the timed mile in 6:54 without much effort, other than focus. Peeled off with a tiny loop and returned along 86th making it back form the loop road in 5:18 which confirms it is essentially .75 miles to my Dad's. Bused home in the afternoon.
