I could write a super angsty long log right now but I'll keep it short. Found out from Veronica today that I have shin splints and that I can't run for a week. The week after that, if I feel good enough, I'm supposed to run every other day, and the week after that is supposed to be two runs for every one cross train. I had great company aqua jogging today in Isabel and Julia, but it's just so hard to enjoy it knowing that I'm going to not be able to fully run for a while. It's really frustrating, but at least the timing is semi-decent with break coming up quickly. I know I need to hold myself accountable to not slip up on training over the next few weeks so I can be in acceptable shape once I can start fully running again. It'll be especially important to keep up on strength. I'll try to mix up aqua jogging and biking so I don't get bored. Here we gooooooooo
