I know I'm gonna get roasted, but I decided not to long run today. My legs are surprisingly still recovering from the workout, and I had a pretty annoying side stitch, so I decided to just run an easy 5 around campus loop. Plus, it looks like the intrasquad meet is Monday and I have some goals for that I want to complete. So gotta be fresh. I wanted to do more for mileage March this week, but ultimately gotta make sure I recover properly.

Not too much happened on this run, but gotta give 2 special shoutouts to non loggers. Erin Zimmer broke the 5 minute barrier in the mile yesterday, which is absolutely incredible. Erin is an absolute animal and her accomplishment is awesome. Also one of my favorite pro-runner Geoffry Kamworor had an insane half marathon where he dropped a 13:01 5K in the last 15k to 20k. Absolute insane stuff, at the 15K mark he strung out a group of 40 and put distance on them immediately. What an insane performance and a great race. He was running around 1:02 mid pace and finished in just about a minute. Crazy stuff.
