Woke up early to bike because traveling home today. Yesterday, we got stuck in a snow storm on a drive through the mountains on the way back from Taos so we got back just before dinner and I couldn't bike unfortunately. Tried running today because I told myself that I couldn't leave here without going on at least a short run. So I jogged the nature trail here at the hotel which is about a mile long and saw some amazing views of the Jemez volcano and the surrounding area. Today, everything except the top of the mountains were covered by clouds. My left shin was stiff on the run, which was essentially a warmup jog for my bike ride, and my right knee was also stiff (I'm guessing from all the biking). I think I'm on the right track in terms of shin recovery. Hopefully by Friday I can do a short run.
