L Day, W Workout

Today's workout was 600 at 800 pace, 1000m jog, 3x200 at mile pace, and 3x300 at 800 pace with 500m jog. I decided to spike up for the workout and use the warmup/cool down as a chance to break in the HOKAs. There surprisingly not as much hate towards the HOKAS as I thought there would be lmao. Surprising viewpoints.

The workout felt really good and controlled. I technically PRed in the 600m again with a 1:30.14 lol. Then I followed that up with some solid 200s and 300s. My knee felt decent, but it was definitely weird going from a bunch of support with the HOKAs to no support from the spikes. Weird feeling.

This workout was probably my biggest W of the day. I accidentally slept through my mandatory 8:30am, had a pretty shitty tour, and now am struggling to figure out the guidelines of an assignment due at midnight. So not the best day, but hey glad I was able to run well. More Ws are yet to come. I also really hope Spartan Invite does not get cancelled this week, as I'm feeling ready for a fast 1500m. I guess we shall see.
