Exercise Type: Run
Weather: windy and cool.
Comments:
we got to hickories at 9ish. we started to warmup at about 10:30 for our race that started at 11:30. i got new 3/8 inch spikes to run in.we ran, then stretched, then ran some more, got to the line, did speed development, and the race began. i started out really fast, top ten probably. i fell back to thirty-something, but still felt good. i cought back up with tim and brendan, and then i started to trail an ithaca guy. i passed him, and for the rest ofthe race, i had my eyes on another ithaca guy, Mackenzie. i beat him at Newark, but he beat me by a couple seconds today. i felt really good racing today and i am glad i started out fast. i came on 4th on the team, but jarred was not running. it was a 3.2 mile race. i beat the first binghampton guy, so if it was sectionals, i would have qualified for states. we will see if i run sectionals next week.
