Zero Dark 365: The Nick Willis Challenge

June 3, 2018 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Alright this is probably tmi but imma let you all in on it anyway so that maybe you can help hold me accountable. A few days ago I decided to test my mental strength by doing something I am calling Zero Dark 365: The Nick Willis Challenge. If you don't know what the Nick Willis Challenge is, ask Sean V, Riley, or Lucas; they can probably figure it out. I have tried the Nick Willis Challenge before but I only made it like 64 days (August-October last year) before giving up because I realized I had been cheating. But I won't be cheating this time. I plan on completing this challenge for a whole 365 days straight at least from June 1st to May 31.

Why I am doing this:
1. To develop a stronger mentality.
2. To give myself a feeling of self-accomplishment.
3. To have a more energetic and happy attitude. I remember how great I felt during the last time I was on this challenge. I want to get back to that.

Ok so now that that's out of the way, I want to remark on how hard I got when I found this one long paved trail today. Like my peter just turned to diamond once I stepped on the trail. Nothing gets me hot like a long paved trail away from all the damn traffic and stoplights.

After finding this trail, I ran on it for a bit and then decided that doing an out and back would be boring and not build any character. So I turned this into one of those wonderful adventure runs that I love to do. After I got off the trail, I had no clue where I was was but I had a somewhat good sense of direction so I was able to eventually find my way home. Expect a lot more adventure runs in the future; they're one of my favorite things to do when I am in a new place. But once my adventuring is done, I am def going to be running on that long paved trail a lot. Like, it is so great. The path just keeps going and you never have to stop because it either goes under or over all the roads!

In other news, my new place in Madison is pretty dank. But I currently owe a very large amount of money to Capital One due to all the purchasing I have done the past few days.

Ok I think that's all for now. I start my Big Baller Brand job tomorrow so that should be fun!
