This weekend I went up North towards Gaylord (uhhhhh I mean Straightlord uhhhhh....) with Liz, Gary (her dad), and Gary’s girlfriend. So when I mentioned I wanted to long run on Saturday morning, Gary wanted to bike along side with me.
I ran 10.1 miles with Gary biking around their lakehousr. We did 3 roughly 3.2 mile loops. At the start of the run, I got a little ambition and averaged 6:26 for the first 3 miles. Well I mean I cant have Gary thinking im slow right? I decided to slow it foen a bit aftet that. But we had a good time, talking about running, life, etc.
At about 7 miles, I feeling the poos come on. Flash backwards to last night and I ordered the Grande Meal at Taco Bell. I ate probably about 8 tacos/burritos so I went ham. The last 3 miles were a huge challenge because I was trying not to go full poo storm with Gary around. If I was by mysef, id totally stop and poo in the woods. But I wasnt about to STOP at all with Gary with me (cant stop wont stop). So I was banking on that I wouldnt shit my pants.
I felt it in my legs the last few miles but ultimatey I survived. Theres only one bathroom in their place up North and I destroyed it! Luckily Gary went in there afterwards and lit a few matches lol. So all was good. Good first long run to start the season!
