Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 70s and humid
Comments:
Sheeeeeeessh, I did not want to run today. I got home from work, ate some chips, and avoided running for almost 4 hours. But eventually I convinced myself to stop being lazy, get up, and put some miles in.
I ended up running 7 miles from the Ginstes to Silver Bell to Adams and back. There was actually a really decent running sidewalk, the only problem was that it was hills as fuckkkkkk! Damn, now I know why it's called Rochester Hills. You really don't think much of them when you're driving, but I felt like this entire run was a constant uphill with the occasional downhill. I also ran past some BIG houses. Off topic, but does anyone know if @JoeHegger lives in the Kirklands? I have no reason to think that, but I just feel like he probably does. Just the type of neighborhood where someone who gets the Iphone every year would live, just saying. HMU @BrokenAnkles
Speaking of people I know, at the end of the run, I saw Charles Zhou playing basketball with a bunch of other dudes. I completely forgot he lived in the area, but I'm pretty sure he lives in my neighborhood. He called my name of out from the court (Shoutout to Charles for building my non existent Rochester street cred) and I told him to hit me up for some runs.
I was feeling like complete ass throughout most of this run, so I finally decided to fully listen through Ye. I didn't like it as much as Kids See Ghosts, but I still ended up enjoying it. Never thought I'd join the Kayne band wagon, but yeah he makes good music. The highlights for me are "I Thought About Killing You" and "No Mistakes".
But yeah overall shitty run, but I was able to push through it. I've been living in the Ginste household alone all week and man it's weird. It's just weird living in somebody else's house completely alone. I walk around and don't see pictures of myself, Paul Chelimo, and outdated peak-Blaida Tweets, but instead I see giant senior pictures of Maginste and her siblings. Either way though, shoutout to the Ginste's for housing my homeless self. It's a good time.
Sorry for the scattered log. My brains all over the place lol.
