Today, I did a long run on the GInste treadmill. I resumed where I left off in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and managed to get a long run in.
I was a little worried that this run was going to brutal, since I had a horrible cramp yesterday while swimming with Liz. The pain lingered into today and I was limping around. Thankfully once I hopped on the treadmill, I felt pretty good for almost the entire time.
The worst part of this run was a little past 45 minutes though. My elbow accidentally hit the treadmill emergency cord (I don't even know how smh) and the treadmill came to a sudden stop. I hadn't seen how fast or how long i had been going at this point. Luckily, I knew started pretty much at 6:50pm and kept it at 7:13 pace with 0 incline. But still one of the most frustrating things that can happen on a treadmill run FUCCCCCK! Usually, 98% of the time when this happens I give up and just end the run. But luckily The Two Towers is a good fucking movie and I continued the run, so I could continue the movie. I finished the run right before the Battle of Helms Deep. FUCCCCCCK again, but oh well I'll finish off next time I hit up the treadmill.
I finished the run at about 8:21pm. I was going 7:13 pace for most of it, but dropped the pace down to 7:02 for the last 5 miles or so. So, in reality I ran anywhere from 12.4 to 12.8 miles, but this is what the good ol pace calculator gave me. Over 12 miles on the treadmill with only one unintentional stop? Sheeeeeeesh, I take my other dreadmill log back, I am a psychopath. Don't fuck with me boiz.
