Yesterday at work, I was doing work in the office with the other intern, and one of the sales reps pops in. This sales rep is named Tyler, he's a young business wardog who happens to be the most successful in the office. He's definititely has taken us under his wing. Anyways he popped in the office and said "Alright boys. Let's Go On An Indian Adventure".
So we ended up going out to lunch at a really cheap Indian buffet. It didn't really seem like an adventure at first tbh Like $6 a plate, which is pretty cheap for a place in Troy. And the place was good af. I had no idea wtf I was putting on my plate, but I loaded up and ate 2 plates of Indian food. Great decision.... until i got back to the office. The gas that was exiting my body was more putrid than anything that has exited before. I probably spent a solid 20 minutes in the bathroom during my work hours. So I'd have to imagine the adventure didn't take place at restaurant on that day, but rather inside my body. Decently brutal stuff. And then I drove home to New Buffalo for the weekend and picked up my friend and her cat. I'm allergic to cats, so I had a bit of a rough car ride suffering through allergies. And then we ate McDonald, which combined with Indian food is just not a great life decision.
So what is this series of events leading up to? Nothing really, just an excuse for why i didn't run on Friday lol. Plus I chose to get slightly drunk with my parents and hot tub instead. So there's that too.
Today, I ran 8 miles down the Grand Beach route, while my little sister biked with me. Well... kind of with me. She thought I was going too slow, so she biked ahead of me. But ya know, I called out 5K went by and told her I was beating her 5K PR basically every time and multiple times. It was a solid time. The weather wasn't horrible outside, so luckily I survived this run. Overall good day and now I'm about to go hang out with my Australian friend I haven't seen in 3-4 years.
