Proper trail long run! Went to Washington Crossing park, and connected a bunch of trails. Super fun!

I was worried all week that it'd be thunderstorming on me, but fortunately it downgraded to just aggressive rains, which I could deal with. I hopped on the old HS starting line for XC meets, and tramped off to Baldpate Mountain. Once I got to Fiddlers Creek, I saw a group of running(?) people just hanging by the crossing. The rain made the flow pretty aggressive, so I asked them if it was safe to cross. They all shrugged their shoulders, so I went for it. Didn't fall! Next was a bunch of fairly rocky trails, with rain streaming down them the whole way. Which was awesome, if slow. Eventually got to the scenic view, which was less scenic because of all of the rain clouds. After getting off the mountain, I ran along the Delaware for a bit, and crossed into Pennsylvania! Always wanted to do that, ever since High School. Then I hit the park visitor center for a water + GU, and got lost on the trails for a bit. Heck, I think this is roughly the 6 year anniversary of when I royally sprained my ankle at this park right before college XC started. Lo how times have changed. After getting my bearings, I got back to the parking lot, did a loop of the HS course (struggles), and finished!

Overall slow pace, but it was on technical trail, with like 1100' of elevation gain, don't judge me. Really fun, looking forward to more of these!
