Alien race plan coming!!
Ok missy this is just serving as a very hard and hot workout for our fall goals, so no pressure on certain paces.
But I do want you to take advantage of the opportunity and make this faster than a regular easy pace long run.
I woukd take the first 5k to see how 11 to 11:30 feels.
Take a short walk and then see if you have it in you to maintain pace for the next 10k or shoot for a sub 11 mile here and there.
Again it’s the middle of August in Florida so it’s not a time to take too many chances but if you are going to, miles 4 through 10 would be the time.
I would plan on short 30 sec. walk breaks every 2 to 3 miles throughout, maybe when you are stopping to drink or get some fuel in you.
Finish the last 3 to 4 miles strong. You might as well view this whole experience as a great tune up for coco and Savannah !!
