Fartlek workout with top girls group

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Led the Cacapans (Abby Murphy, Ana, Ana-Sophia, Amelia Myre, Ilana Zeilinger, Joyce Yang, Maddi Salwen, Megna) through 1-2-3-2-1 minute intervals with 2-minute recoveries in pouring rain. Then added on 2:30 interval with Ilana afterward. We tended to get a bit strung out, but no one was consistently by themselves except for Ilana out in front. Since we were wandering at will through big grassy pastures with not trail to stick to, I had fun deliberately choosing the most uphill route almost every time. The rain made it feel like more of a hardcore workout without actually impeding our progress. Great group of girls ready for a fantastic season!
