Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran with a big group of goofballs including Ana, Aiden, Corbin, Ella, Dora, Lucia, Abby, and a few others. We started off by chasing a deer we saw, then split into two groups to trap it, then some of kids pretended to be the deer and we chased them while making dinosaur noises. We paused to swing on tire swing, then headed into the woods armed with wands to ward off bears. After plowing through multiple cobwebs, we stopped to examine a spider spinning a new one, and then inspected one particularly beautiful web which refracted the light in surprising ways. I kept rotating who had to serve as "fearless leader" and who got to choose the path. Eventually, after some more fighting cobwebs, dead-end trails, and logs we "had to" hurdle, we made it out in one piece and joggled happily back to camp. No bear sightings. Maybe next year?
