Weather: 90s with brutal humidity
Comments:
For the second consecutive day, the team wasn't allowed to run outdoors due to bad heat and air. I jogged over to the HS from 3944. Then oversaw indoor training. We set up four stations (core, stairs, tours, drills). I ran two tours, then two rounds of stairs, and then another round of tours. Indoor running time totaled about 40 minutes at a mostly mellow pace with a few light hallway accelerations and some 15 minutes of stairs nestled in the middle. After practice, the coaches (Amanda, Mike, Ethan, and I, plus Matt Ishimaru who was visiting) snuck out for an extra 24 minute loop around AU Park and I peeled off and headed home. It ended up being a decent amount of running and being in the humidity outdoors was truly awful. Legs felt like they were working on the stairs, especially when I was taking them one step at a time. Hard to gauge mileage. Likely rounding down.
