we had our first big full team workout at the high school- 1500m tempo on the trails that are part of our home course, 1200@ 5k effort on the grass track, 1500m tempo, 800@ 3k effort on grass track, 1500m tempo, 400m@1500ish effort. 2 min recovery between everything

times were all slow but it was pretty hot and I think the loop might have been a bit more than 1500m. overall felt much more limited by my legs than by my breathing, which was a welcome change. My hamstrings especially were really exhausted. I felt optimistic about my fitness given that I felt really good aerobically and my legs are really tired from getting back into running and camp. we were split into 3 groups and I was with my group for the everything but the 3rd tempo, in which another girl and I were further back.
