December 18, 2018 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I set off a brisk trot at bold hour of 4am. This was not the splendid sort of early morning march favored by Mark and Anthony, but rather the result of a truly Simonsonian idiocy, a combustive mixture of procrastination and excitement. I had been planning to set out for hours, but then I turned on my laptop, planning to attend to one small chore pertaining to my research, and before I knew it half the night had flown by. Then around half past three a certain harrier who shalt go unnamed began to harry me over Facebook about wrongs and injustices I had supposedly committed in the name of coaching, and before long the hour of 4 was nigh upon me and the dawn not far asunder. I set out then upon the empty streets, taking in the frigid chill of a long December mountain night. The snow-covered rooves shimmed in the moonlight and city down below glowed with a warmth I hath seldom witnessed. My legs felt light on the pavement as I scurried down the highway, not an automobile in sight, and world mine and mine alone.
Eventually, I got tired and went to bed.
