Exercise Type: Run
Weather: Overcast and rainy at times
Comments:
Last day of this “mini-vacay” so wanted to make use of the time and head up to AUB again. Bounced around some ideas of a route and decided heading toward 49 is always a good plan.
Trail was completely demolished after “Hurricane” conditions yesterday (~3” of rain and 20-30mph gusts). Danced around a lot, which was okay, but tough to actually settle into a rhythm. I suppose it distracted the mind, if anything. Good climb up toward the meadow then decided to veer off on the Shortcut Trail. Bc this Trail is higher up, the drainage was much better and Trail was in pretty decent shape.
Popped out onto a flooded Trail to 49 (and a swampy A/S!) ... Tirned around and enjoyed the nice descent back. Worked on “Lumbar Lordosis” as I’ve noticed when the hips are more forward, I have much more stability in the hips/knees (ie: less Knee Valgus)
Like Tue, three on 4xUphill Strides on K2 and enjoyed the rest of the day with fam. Tracy came and watched the girls tonight and the whole Kelly contingent (+ Sara and I) hit up Crooked Lanes Brewery and Moonraker. Moonraker has really put Knee Deep to shame recently - their Hazy Doubles & West Coast Doubles are on just a different level.
