Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
It was raining and in the low 40s when I set out, but it looked like the temperature was only gonna drop the rest of the day and I just wanted to get the run over with. Turned out to be a lovely run during which I wound my way up into the hills overlooking the Moscanica valley. Moscanica creek was a raging torrent from all the rain the snow being washed into it. As I got to higher elevations the rain stopped, but the little tributaries continued to overflow, covering the road in some places, especially the parts that we unpaved. I had to do some strategic hopping from snow-and-thorn laden edges of the path on the shallower parts that had been submerged in order to minimize my shoes getting soaked. The way back was along a road I've run several times whose name literally means "cold water".
Managed to hit my mileage goal of breaking 70 miles for the week. And I feel less sore than I did yesterday.
5 minutes of mobility drills after.
