This was supposed to be a bit more a challenge and it was. I headed up though Odhoza and onto Hresa plateau which isn't so much a plateau but a very slanted tabletop. You're pretty much going up the whole time, even though it looks fairly flat looking down from Mt. Trebavic across the Milacka. I got up to the top but then decided to see where the dirt road off to the right went since I'd never tried that before. Turns out it leads down around in a big loop to a split in the road halfway up the mountain that's patrolled by angry dogs that have no trouble getting through the fence around their yard. Somehow I survived this encounter and headed back up the mountain again, stopped at the stop to look at an incredibly clear starry sky, and then down the far side into the village of Moscanica. Finished by going down into Vratnik through the Visegrad gate and then headed sideways across the hill exploring a new neighborhood while listening to an interview with beloved historian Doris Kearns Goodwin on "Presidential" about Abraham Lincoln.
