Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran to Willard park and was kind of shocked to hear I was in the half-workout group because I was sore from stairs and expecting to run steady. I was very excited until running over I felt a weird pain right under the side of my right knee. It felt pretty dull and striders didn't aggravate it, so after talking to Lauren, I joined a group with Lyra and Jenna and tried to ease into doing workouts.
Pickups were a 1-2-3-2-1 ladder with 1 min recovery on the shorter pieces and 2 min recovery on the 3 minute one.
I felt pretty bad on most of the pickups both breathing wise and leg wise, but not the right side pain. I just don't feel smooth and fast yet at all, but I suspect that will come with more time and getting into shape. I really enjoyed getting to do the workout.
Running back was tougher on my knee?? IT band?? because of all the lights (it hurts more when I stop and start) but I stretched well and am icing so hopefully it goes away :)
Mileage is a guess and I tried to add the piece between willard and actually running to the CCT but who knows
