March 14, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I had planned to break today up into two runs but I decided midway through this one that I'd rather get my running over with all at once today, plus I'm been feeling a certain pride in manage to do all this high mileage without resorting to doubles. The run was slow but the skiing and heavy mileage was certainly taking its toll. Had a bit of snow to contend with on the railway bed. Listened to a long poem about Ghenghis Khan called "in the fourth hour of the night." Ended the run by discovering a new set of streets above the Bascasia I hadn't previously known. Felt very weary the last 2 miles and grew increasingly concerned it would take a toll on Sunday's race.
