Fast finish long run


Ok this is often hard to do but I want to take the first 3 miles to go very easy and comfortable. Then if we can really hit hard the last 3, that would be awesome.
As far as effort, I want you to think of it like 75% of heart rate for first 3 mikes(maybe in high 8’s or even 9’s
And then it goes to 90% effort for those last 3, where you are really trying to pick up pace and see what you can do..
But not race pace!!
Maybe low to mid 8’s.

This is a run that has so many benefits if you can reign in those first few mikes and keep em easy.

After the last two weekends of racing though, don’t worry too much about pace.
