Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Thursday is going to be easy with 10k on Saturday so today is a short fartlik workout just to get some speed under your belt.
Here is what I’m looking for:
It’s a 35 minute run.
Run easy 5 min.
Then run 3 min moderate at tempo pace with 2 min. Recovery jog in between.
Do this set 4 times for a total of 20 min.
The 3 min. tempo type interval is not all out but just where you are trying to run a bit faster than easy pace.
Follow that up with a ver easy 10 min. Cooldown to equal 35 minutes.
