March 25, 2019 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50ish and quite nice and refreshing for a run
Comments:
Can't say as I had much motivation for a morning run, but I convinced Leah that we should get it over with early and that gave me the motivation to do it before breakfast. Still, we didn't get out the door until close to 10am so I was quite hungry at first. We went up 86th to Central Park and looped the reservoir one time. Pace was steady and we clocked the last mile around the reservoir at 10:00 (well, with a descending pace, we were actually 9:49 after coming through the half mile at 5:03. Paused to stretch as we got off the cinders and then agreed to extend the effort at a Tempo pace back to West End Ave. Was nice to have the hungry mood melt away into a pleasant run. Cooled down the final block and I think we could call this 5km or so. A bit of walking in the afternoon as we checked out a couple museums and Anne Isaak's house on the East side.
