Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
First AU workout of the season (that I got to do!). Ran with Amanda and briefly Abby there where I relayed my stories of veganism and the dairy princess. Everything felt good!
Workout was 6-5-4-3-2 with the Steam Rollers (Hannah, Amanda, Jenna, Isabelle, and Evan, but Anthony advised skipping the 2 for my IT band. I'm icing it now and will see how it feels tomorrow.
The 6 felt good, tried to work off of Hannah. It's tough finding "aggressive mile" pace after spring break with little speed work because of the IT band.
I have no clue what happened on the 5 and I am not a huge fan of these long recoveries because I don't really know how to feel after them...
4 and 3 I made a concerted effort to up the intensity and the quality of the pickups, and was rewarded.
Sad to miss the 2 but probably best in the grand scheme of staying injury-free.

Ran the 6 with Hannah but was alone on most another pickups (got some company at the end with Evan, but didn't feel the same as working together with another teammate throughout the pickup) :( so it felt odd getting used to working hard, but good for a first workout back! I don't feel like I used up the full recoveries though to run faster times, but who knows. It's still early
