Comments:
Ran to AU with Lauren and Malachi. Interesting track workout today—I don't think I've ever done a downward ladder like this. It was 600, 500, 400, 300, 200 with equal cool downs to pickups. That doesn't sound that unusual, but it seemed new to me. Also, I don't think I've ever run a 600 before in 6 years of running! Ran with the steamrollers (Tara, Isabelle, Leah, Jenna, Evan) + Amanda and Caroline for some. Felt pretty good, but not amazing. Hips and butt were sooooooo sore from the long hill I accidentally did yesterday, and they were kinda throbbing (?) during the workout. TMI? Sorry. Also my shins hurt a bit. But all in all I had a good time and felt pretty fast for coming off vacation. My 500 sucked, but I accidentally started a second late and struggled to catch up the whole time. Also, judging by the 200 time, I am REALLY not a sprinter. Good to confirm that every once in a while. ;) Good run. Beautiful day. I am OBSESSED with cherry blossoms.
In other news, Anthony, I'm apparently an idiot and somehow didn't realize that your marathon was an April Fools joke. Is the daily strength a joke too? ;)
