"I need sleep and oxygen"

Ran one of the worst workouts that I can remember. Supposed to be 4*400 under 95 seconds. Didn't seem like it should be that hard, but that is fairly fast for me. The first was pretty good. Everyone else went out really really fast and I was like hell no, so I did my own pacing which Tara conceded later was the right thing to do and they'd all run way too fast. But after that one, I really had a lot of trouble breathing. I've never had bad breathing trouble before, but the pollen has just been so incredibly bad this year that I was really struggling today. It was a strange and unpleasant feeling. Knew my body could move faster, but I was unable to get enough oxygen. Felt like there was a sieve around my lungs, like my mouth could take in enough air, but it couldn't get through the holes of the sieve fast enough. Super unpleasant. Tried to push through, but it was a struggle. Slowed down each time which is not like me. Nomi ran with our group and tried to motivate us, but it wasn't a question of mental drive today for me, my body just wasn't having it. Ran back after with Lauren. Then stretched, did crunches and pushups (I haven't done strength in too long), and then had a massive laughing fit over absolutely nothing. Like I mean actually nothing. I just couldn't stop though. Sometimes life is just a funny thing. :)
